Bondi Beach is one of Sydney’s most famous beaches. This beach is not only popular for surfing, it also offers the possibility to discover the famous “Iceberg Pool” and even swim in it!

Every year, when spring comes with its sunny days, the Bondi Pavilion welcomes events and festivals that gather thousands of people on the iconic Bondi Beach!

The festival held by the Bondi Pavilion this year will be the 41st edition of the mythical Festival of the Winds. It’s one of the most famous kite festivals in the world. Every year, it attracts more than 70.000 visitors!

This 41st edition will take place on Sunday 8th of September between 11am and 4pm. On schedule are: aerial shows, amateur kite flying competitions, professional kite flying demonstrations, art exhibitions and many more, but especially an incredible atmosphere!

Alone, with family or friends, this festival is going to be a lot of fun and will fill your day with joy and happiness! With a large space dedicated to food from all around the world, another one for children and also live dance and music performances, everything is set up to have an extraordinary Sunday at Bondi Beach!

Wondering how to get there? It’s simple, public transport is the easiest way to get there because roads will be shut down for the event and parking spaces will be limited.

The amateur kite flying competition will be held from 11am to 3pm. So make sure to stay until the end to find out the results! Who do you think will be the winner?
