We require 10 Horticultural Labourers for 9 months work from late March 2020 to mid December 2020, in the Burdekin region of North Queensland.
Summary of positions:
Pay as per casual and piece rates in Horticultural Award 2010 [MA000028]
9 months of work (workers must be available for the whole 9 months)
Minimum of 30 hours per week
Planting, harvesting, packing and general crop management of fruit and vegetable crops
Property is located in Inkerman, North Queensland
Please note the farm is in a rural area, with no public transport, and is located 20 minutes drive from the nearest town Home Hill.
These positions are physically demanding with ongoing periods of hot and humid weather; workers will need to be physically fit and accustomed to outdoor, physical work. Relevant experience is highly regarded but not necessary. Weekly hours will be a minimum of 30 hours per week to be carried out over 5-6 days per week including weekends.
