An opportunity has arisen to join the front-line team as a Reception Assistant. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, exceptional customer service, superb attention to detail, be self-motivated, energetic and enjoy interacting with visitors from around the world.
Must be willing to carry out a variety of duties, including but not limited, to front of house customer service and administration, receiving and directing incoming phone calls, attending to guest requests, welcoming visitors to the Castle, checking guests into the accommodation, café duties, breakfast service and some food and wine service
To be successful the ideal candidate will have;
Experience with Room Master or a similar reservation system
Efficient and friendly guest service, and willingness to provide exceptional guest service every time
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ability to work autonomously
A 'can do' attitude, excellent attention to detail and great customer service skills
Maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
Previous food & beverage experience, as Café work is part of the role.
This is a full-time fixed term position for the duration of the summer season (until the end of April 2020). If you wish to be considered for the role you must be available for the duration of the contract.
We are a 365 day operation therefore the position will include weekend work, as well as statutory days, hours and days worked will vary. There is the possibility that this contract may be extended for the right applicant.
