We have a position available for a Cleaner in Wanaka at our Lodges from now until mid-July this year, with an opportunity for a 6 month fixed term contract next year (February to July) for the right applicant.

The role will be part-time casual throughout our hunting season, based between our two lodges.

The ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a team, while being able to work independently with little or no supervision, having experience in Commercial Cleaning to a five-star standard. The role will suit someone who is flexible and well organised.

Responsibilities:
• Pre-Guest arrival clean, maintenance and services checklist completed.
• During Guest stay, keeping lodges and outdoor areas clean and tidy.
• Post Guest stay, full lodge clean and ready for next guests.

Requirements:
• Ability to work to five-star standards
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, work unsupervised

Harvest Assistant

The position is full time with 30-40 hours a week.
Our farm is an organic market garden (40+ acres) situated 15 minutes from Lincoln. Applicants will need their own transport. Previous experience on market gardens would be ideal, and enthusiasm for horticulture and organics a must. Prior experience working on a farm or as landscaper, gardener essential.

The primary role is harvest assistant. Tasks include harvesting, washing and packing produce. The successful candidate will also be asked to assist with a range of on farm duties, including weeding, planting, irrigating and running the seedling nursery. Please note that some tasks at the farm are repetitive and long hours are occasionally required. We work outside in all weather conditions, and an ability to lift up to 22 kg is required.

We pay the living wage of $20.55 an hour, after a two week training period at $18 per hour. We are located on Brookside Irwell Road.

Here at our lodge we host seasonal workers in cooperation with our local farmers.

We are looking to cover work from the 15th of April through to May in some cases. The work offered will be on a Mandarin Farm for Picking. The farmer is Very respectful and kind so get in while you can, there aren't many like this one.

A car is recommended and helping others get to work will be great as the farms are a little while away.

Pay rate for Harvesting is $17.70 Plus 8% Holiday Pay

Weekly rate is $150, but we also have a 5 day rate of $120 for those who wish to explore on their weekends.
