We are looking for one or possibly 2 energetic, enthusiastic and quick learners to help in our operations department starting immediately.

The duties would be mainly the packing of flowers,in the cool room, so you need to be happy to work in a cold environment. The work is quite physical so you need to be fit and able to lift the boxes which are up to 12 kg. As you are packing from orders you need to be good at learning the different products quickly and also have good quality control.

Other duties include:
-unpacking incoming goods
- making up boxes
- barcoding and sleeving etc.

You will need to be a quick learner and able to work fast to meet courier deadlines, set time limits and maintain our high quality standards. It is a fast paced work environment and requires the ability to pick things up quickly and work accurately with numbers and orders.

We will be very busy for Valentine's Day, so you will need to be happy to extra days/hours over the next few weeks. You will also need a valid work visa and a current drivers licence.

Event Crew - Packing Work - HOT JOB

Hello backpackers,

We are looking for new staff members who are interested in packing work:

We need you to install and then pack down large events. It involves heavy lifting (e.g. putting equipment into the truck and then carrying it into the venue, helping to install it and then after the event dismantling it and transferring it pack into the warehouse). Steel cap boots are recommended (but not required). Most of the work we offer is packing work. The main thing our crew need for this is a reasonable level of strength and good work ethic.

Occasionally, we hire extra staff to work during events themselves as well. These events are typically corporate events. Jobs involve managing the coat check desk, registering guests as they arrive, way-finding, etc. The main thing our crew need for this is good people skills.

Both types of work receive $18 per hour pay.

The meet up location for our work is almost always at the headquarters of our main client in Grafton. We only operate in Auckland.

Please note that our work is very inconsistent, as we might have a couple large events within a two week period which will involve up to 40 hours of work available each of those weeks. Afterwards, there might be several weeks with no work available at all. Our work is suitable for backpackers who are staying for a longer term in Auckland and want to earn some extra money while they already have a part-time job. The work load depends entirely on how many events our clients are organising, and how big those events are.
