*Areas of Responsibility
Provide exceptional hospitality to Analog guests by upholding the Company Hospitality Guiding Principles.
Greet each guest with a sincere smile and maintain a positive attitude throughout the day.
Make a genuine effort to get to know guests by name and drink order, welcoming them each time they visit the cafe
Stay up to date and knowledgeable about current Company product offerings. Reference the Company newsletters, attend cafe learning sessions, ask questions and discuss with team members.
Inform and educate guests on product offerings, including coffee and baked goods. Offer suggestions with the goal of enhancing their overall experience.
Remain knowledgeable about retail coffee and merchandise available for sale in the cafe. Answer guest questions and make suggestions based on their needs.
Demonstrate a keen interest to participate in Analog community events. Responsibly represent Analog and its brand, in and outside of the cafe.
Enthusiastic Team Member:
Enthusiastic and engaged in all cafe roles. Work collaboratively, assisting areas that require additional help, supporting the overall success of the cafe.
Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a calm demeanor during times of high volume. Promote a positive environment during times of potential stress.
Proactively complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties and follow preventative maintenance guidelines.
Restock all areas of the cafe as needed, including but not limited to paper products, side stands, dishes, retail and pastries.
Be punctual for work shifts and flexible to changing schedules.
Take initiative to improve operational efficiency and report ideas and issues to cafe leadership.
Follow all drink recipes as instructed by Analog training and standards. Improvement recommendations are encouraged but must be approved by Analog leadership before making changes to the Analog standard.
Present all beverages and food products consistently and with an attention to detail. Only serve drinks that meet or exceed the Analog quality standards for drink presentation and latte art.
Frequently taste coffee to ensure quality of the dial and to continue developing a coffee palate.
Actively participate in product tastings to further product knowledge and help identify any issues or deficiencies. Strive for continuous learning.
Follow Analog operational policies and procedures and comply with Provincial health and safety regulations.
Experience and Qualifications:

Must love coffee!
Experience in retail or hospitality or equivalent experience, café experience an asset.
Experience working in a team environment.
Passion for exceptional customer service and working collaboratively.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently, multi-taskand learn quickly.
Willing to learn and adapt to changes as new procedures and policies are implemented.
Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; may require early mornings, weekends and evenings.
Proficiency with POS systems.
Minimum High School education
