Job Summaries:
The Entry Cook is responsible for basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting up meat and fish, cleaning, peeling, slicing, chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients, etc. May use basic cooking skills to work on a line or in a cooking station, such as the broiler, fryer, oven, grill, or sauté station and be responsible for set up of assigned station. May be responsible for loading and unloading food product to remote meal sites for preparation.

The Intermediate Cook functions as an experienced cook, responsible for performing the full cooking process using established recipes. This includes preparing and measuring ingredients; grilling, broiling, baking, frying, and sautéing; testing for doneness and taste; adjusting seasoning and temperature for best results; and attractive food presentation. In casual facilities, fully responsible for all aspects of a cooking station. Ensures cooking station or area is sanitary and fully functional.

Requirements:
Individuals who are passionate about guest service and the hospitality/ski industry
English Proficiency
Able to work the entire season (November– April)
Some experience in food and beverage or guest service – preferred
Weekends and holidays required.
All of their team members are typically required to wash dishes one shift per week

Physical requirements for this position include:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.

The Team is in search of a certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor who, when not instructing, also works as a Rental Shop Technician to join their team. Wages depend on experience and training. They are looking for a highly skilled and committed individual who is able to provide guests with exemplary service when accessing the rental shop and safe, fun skill development in the lesson environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional attitude and represent the Resort values
Adhere to the Alpine Responsibility code at all times,
Wear proper assigned uniform.
Immediately report any and all accidents/injuries during lessons to the Snowsports Manager.
Provide safe, professional and fun instruction to students of all ages.
Assist students to achieve their goal of improvement.
Provides feedback to students or to students’ parents in regards to progress made in the lesson and what to work on next.
Exceed expectations by going out of your way to assist all guests, being courteous, friendly and informative, ensuring the ultimate customer service experience on the mountain and in the repair shop.
Answer guest inquiries and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
Ensure rental forms are filled out properly and completely including signatures and dates.
Assist guests with proper selection, fitting and adjustment of equipment.
Notify Snowsports Manager if equipment is requiring repair or replacement.
Works as part of a team to maintains the Rental Shop in clean & organized order.
Carries out other related duties as assigned.
Fosters an atmosphere of safety and co-operation, and promotes positive teamwork in the Rental Shop as well as in all other Resort locations.

Wages: Vary upon experience & level of certification. Higher levels, more experience, more money!

Qualifications: At minimum, a Level 1 instructor's certification through either/both the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) or Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI). Previous experience in ski/board instruction is preferred.

Responsibilities:
Greet Guests and contribute to a positive experience,
Complete food and beverage orders,
Handle, prepare and present menu items following Food Safe practices and established company guidelines,
Replenish stock, maintain cleanliness of all food venues, guest seating area and food storage areas,
Assist with tasks as directed by Team Leaders and Food and Beverage Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year of Guest Service experience in a Food & Beverage setting,
Cashier experience with RTP system is considered a strong asset,
Food prep and kitchen experience an asset,
Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide experiences Guests are amazed by,
Strong oral communication skills, multilingual is considered an asset,
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task,
Food Safe Level 1 is an asset

Be willing to work in a variety of winter weather conditions,
Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business,
