Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisors, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer a professional, engaging and friendly service
Responsible for following all established and future standard operating procedures (SOP’s). These will include but are not limited to reporting to work, signing in and out, master, sectional or general keys, sequence of service and lost & found
Expected to adhere to all standards that relate to hygiene and grooming, health and safety, fire, accommodations, guestroom standards and guest interactions
Clean and record all assigned guestrooms including: making beds, removing trash and dirty linen, retrieving clean linen, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors, replenishing amenities, placing furniture to its original position, being attentive to the guests belongings by pairing shoes, folding clothes and ensure that all other personal belongings are cared for. Additional information as laid out in the sequence of service.
Clean the guest bathrooms which include: cleaning all surfaces (horizontal and vertical), all sinks, taps, vanities, tubs, showers and walls and toilets. Replenish amenities and additional information as laid out in the sequence of service.
Clean and disinfect elevators, vacuum hallways, ensure back spaces are neat and tidy
Report all concerns related to Engineering/Maintenance, health and safety, security or suspicious circumstances (including smells/sights and sound)
Responsible for the assistance in maintaining a clean and organized backspace and housekeeping cart
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience is an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible and reliable
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision

The Base Operations Team is looking for a dynamic individual to join their crew in a Full Time/Extended Season capacity that would see duties/responsibilities change from pre-season to within the winter season/when the snow falls. Fall work would focus primarily on brush-cutting the ski runs and pre-season ski area cleanup/maintenance. Once the winter season starts, responsibilities will be focused on snow management including shoveling and car parking. All work, both pre-season and during the winter season, will be outside in all weather
conditions. This role requires a valid driver’s license and insured/reliable vehicle to get to/from the mountain as the shuttle bus does not run outside the winter months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):
FALL SEASON:

Job Duties
Cleans resort units to include sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
Maintains and adheres to housekeeping detail standards
Cleans, vacuums, dusts, and sanitizes bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies
Makes beds
Replenishes supplies, such as kitchenware and toiletries
Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carry linens
Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Maintain positive customer and associate relationships
Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction
Handle guest issues to resolution in effort to improve the guest experience and escalate any outstanding guest inquiry or concern to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
Make appropriate service recovery recommendations
Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
