You will work as part of a dynamic golf services team deliver outstanding service to members and their guests. Under the supervision and direction of the Golf Services Manager/Shift Leader, the Golf Services Attendant will perform his/her duties to ensure the safety and security of member’s golf equipment such as golf bags, golf clubs, driving range equipment, etc. Duties include but not limited to greet and guide members upon their arrival; handle and clean equipment; cart set-up and range set up. The Golf Services Attendant will also ensure that the equipment is readily available for members prior to their tee-off time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Completion of High School Education (Grade 12) is required
Knowledge of the game of Golf and the principles surrounding etiquette is recommended
Good communication skills with a good working knowledge of written and spoken English
Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining composure and performance standard during busy peak periods
Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors for long periods of time
Must be able to perform lifting and mild strenuous activity
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. (Golf Bags)
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on member and guest service
Well groomed, mannerly, co-operative and outwardly friendly (team oriented)
Taste of work and discipline
Able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Punctual and reliable
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Possession of valid driver’s license (G2) and a safe driving record
Up to 40 hours per week (varied shift work schedule)
Hourly Wage plus bonus
One duty meal per day complimentary
Uniform provided by the Club
Able to work evenings, weekends including holidays
Accessible by TTC
April/May 2019 to September/October 2019
